Mackrille Elementary School students from grades two, three and four, along with social worker Karen Wyskiel and school psychologist Faye Marzinotto, pose with “Mackrille’s Thankful Thoughts,” a paper turkey project hanging in the hallway. All children in those grades wrote things they were thankful for on paper feathers, which now form this turkey, to show appreciation for things that are typically take for granted. The school is also incorporating a food drive for WHEAT into the Thanksgiving project.
